I am a type 2 diabetic and morbidly obese – ugh. At my three month appointment Tuesday my Doctor said “you are killing yourself”. My sugar is too high, my cholesterol is too high, my blood pressure is too high. I left angry, discouraged and frustrated. So immediately I made changes. I changed my eating, I am using my home workout room and today I did the treadmill and a walking DVD as I listened to Marty’s devotional on From Faith to Fit. I am determined to trust God and work through this. And for me – Starting is a huge success – it may not sound like much to anyone else but it is all I have right now. Barb

Good for you Barb!!! That is a huge step…congrats!!!
Kim,
Website:Barb,
I just want you to know that I am proud of you. The hardest step in making a life change is the first step, deciding you are going to make that change and follow through. Just remember that God has great plans for your life and He needs you to be healthy in every area of your life so that He can get the glory out of your life. When times get tough and the devil tries to tell you, you can’t gain the victory over your flesh be reminded of 1 Corin 6:19. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit… You are not your own, but have been bought with a price!
Keep up the great work!
