More after school snacks ideas for the busy mom!

This quick and easy snack is also very healthy!  Not only will it satisfy your kids, it’s a great snack to grab when you’ve been out running errands and need just a little something to keep your energy up.

Deli Delight Rollup (about 100 calories)

  • 1 slice 97% fat-free deli turkey (35)
  • ½ slice 2% reduced-fat Swiss cheese (35), or (1 low-fat string cheese) (50)
  • 1 dill or kosher pickle spear (5)

Roll the cheese of your choice and the pickle into the turkey meat slice.  No plate or fork needed!

  1. Sounds great! My daughter has shown me that by taking a big leaf of any type of lettuce one can fill them and eat them like sandwiches-great deal!
