I’m in Agreement With What God Says!

Posted on October 18, 2011 | No Comments »

Praise the Lord, I just had to share – the Lord just revealed to me that I  needed to AFFIRM (come into agreement with what He says) about my self worth by ALLOWING HIM to have His way in my life and allowing myself to lose the excess weight.

(I have been troubled with feelings of unworthiness due to upbringing etc). Now to see the manifestation of God’s love and  plan for my life. Please agree with me on this in prayer.

Slowly he has unburied my reasons for indulging in food due to feelings of unworthiness, and it’s as though a light went off this morning -wow.

Thanks! Teri

Your Instruction is a Lifeline to Me!

Posted on September 18, 2010 | No Comments »

I thank God for your faithfulness to His Word!  I praise God for your instruction – it is a lifeline to me!

Thank you for your teachings and articles!

Hi, I’m 32 years old and am so excited by your teaching, your candor and encouragement. I’ve listened to your teaching and read your articles numerous times, and each time I learn more and more, and it gets into my spirit deeper each time. I’m learning to discern and overcome a lot of distractions, and that the weight loss is not the ultimate goal. That, of course, is my relationship with God! Thank you! Kathleen

Praise God for Balanced Teaching!

Posted on July 27, 2010 | No Comments »

Praise God!  I want to let you know about my victory with your teaching!  I am the typical “tried dozens of diets but short term results” people.  The last diet I tried (and will ever try) was a popular no carb, a lot of protein diet.  I did have quick results but not only could I not imagine eating mostly meats the rest of my life, I was having side effects.  But Glory to God – as I was “wrestling” with the desire to lose weight vs. the side effects of the diet, I came across your balanced teaching.  I had immediate results!  Not just weight loss, but an increased desire for knowledge, control over my body, and a desire for receiving from God. In the first 7 weeks time, I am increasing in my knowledge of scripture and wisdom.  I have planted and harvested self-control, lost my desire for chocolate, and am receiving freedom from my desire for diet soda.  I have lost 13 pounds and 8 ½ inches and have fun shopping now!  Praise God for His wisdom and gift He gave you to share with your brothers and sisters in Christ.  Jesus is Lord!  Sue

Thank you Marty!

Success Story: Marty Copeland is one of my favorites and I have learned a lot about health, fitness, and nutrition from her. She knows a ton, and is so knowledgeable and down-to-earth. Someone you can really relate to. One of the things I really like about Marty is she keeps the spiritual side in it. Her program is called ‘From Faith to Fit.’ She is part of God’s plan to take you higher- spirit, soul and body! I am really thankful for her, and she has helped me get back control of my spirit, soul & body!

I was raised eating healthy foods, and I knew a lot about giving your body the proper nutrition. But I didn’t know about how to put on muscle mass, and build up the physical man. In part to the information that I learned through Marty, I am now able to exercise right, feel great, and put on muscle! Thank you, Marty!

I Can Do This From Faith to Fit 90 Day Challenge!

Posted on July 21, 2010 | No Comments »

I started my 90-day challenge yesterday.  I did my first fat burning workout today and loved it.

At 225 pounds, I could hardly keep up but I never stopped and I kept my eyes on the lady in the back row of the workout DVD telling myself “if she can do it, so can I.”  I so appreciate the way you created that video:  with all body types and all fitness levels included.  I’ve been enjoying listening to your CD.

Thanks, Marty, and everyone involved, for doing this!

God Loves You the Way You Are Right Now!

When Marty initially asked me to be in the work out video I immediately burst into tears because I felt ashamed and unlovely. However Marty ministered to me and encouraged me to be in the workout video. She said, “God loves you the way you are right now and you should love yourself right now.” I asked God did He really ask her to ask me to be in the Video and He said to me yes. I said, “You have got to be joking! God, have you seen me lately?” Well, I agreed. Participating in the video has help me to love myself no matter what I weigh. I received such an impartation of Grace, from Marty, that has strengthen me on the inside and caused me to build physical strength and endurance. I received such a fresh revelation of how much God loves me and wants me to love myself regardless of what I weigh. During the project Marty encouraged me to confess “I love myself the way I am right now” several times a day. I did that and have continued to do so. I received an impartation of grace and now it seems so easy to lose weight and stay consistent with an exercise program. Glory to God I am experiencing Higher Fitness everyday of my life as a result of participating in this workout project.

Daily Devotions in From Faith to Fit Challenge

Posted on June 4, 2010 | 5 Comments »

What a great opportunity I feel I have been blessed with in this challenge. I wanted to give a piece of advice that I discovered –I spend my morning hours in my own study and devotion so I was thinking about when I wanted to fit in Marty’s devotion….great idea — in the evening when I have run out of calories for the day, I get really hungry (or bored) and want to munch, that’s when I have chosen to do the devotion (for me it’s about 8 pm. that this hits) to get my focus on God and off of my flesh.I hope this helps anyone who may be like me and gets that evening urge to splurge!!!
