Beware of Drinking Your Calories!

Nothing can hinder your progress as subtly as drinking sodas, or even certain sports drinks.  Not only do we need to look at food labels, we need to be aware of the calories in what we drink.  And be sure to look at serving sizes on sports drinks.  Some sports drinks have more than one serving in the bottle.  You may be getting twice the calories than you thought!  Drinking water or unsweetened tea is much better and can save you from drinking so many calories. It’s these kinds of small decisions that can make a difference.

An Updated Testimony!

I emailed you a month or so again to update a prayer request I made for help losing weight and getting fit and dealing with type 2 diabetes. I had to email you again to give you another update. In April 2011 I was ina size 24 fat girl jeans. Today I bought and am wearing a size 16 – for the first time in 21 years!!! Praise God!! And my top is a large! from the regular rack!!! I still have a long way to go but I had to write you!! Barbara
